What a fantastic start to our 3rd annual Professional Development with Chaffey Union HSD teachers ✨✨✨We engaged in thoughtful discussions about how our identities influence our instructional styles. Looking forward to continuing the discourse in our upcoming sessions.

Village Life Education remains committed to delivering culturally relevant and critically conscious math instruction. Our work is grounded in practical, actionable strategies, driven by a clear sense of urgency to support student achievement.

Thank you, Cerritos Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, for inviting me as guest speaker for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. It was great to reconnect with so many amazing people who continue to inspire us to make an impact through quality and equitable education.

As the first recipient of our Loretta Thomas Scholarship, Naomi earned a GPA above 3.0 and, in her own words, “plans to crush the spring semester” by meeting more people and achieving even higher grades.

Naomi sends her prayers and gratitude for the continued support, and we are so thankful for the joy, confidence, and light she brings to our village. 💫

It was amazing to engage in meaningful conversations with the Sacramento City College math faculty!
Thank you to Drs. Patrice Waller and Rob Rubalcaba for leading rich discussions on critical and culturally responsive math teaching. Together, we’re committed to humanizing math in K–16 spaces.

We ended 2025 in partnership with the Long Beach City College Calworks/CARE/EOPS teams, supporting the 4th annual holiday event at the TTC campus. 
Our donation was especially meaningful because we were student parents while at the University of California, Riverside, and our village cared for us. Also, we are firm believers that giving and receiving are both spiritual laws. 
We bring this spirit of generosity to 2026, praying for blessings and peace for our Village.
