All students undertake technical studies systematically to ensure a good technical foundation. Students are also offered a broad range of repertoire, from classical to jazz/pop as appropriate to cultivate interest. One of my students made it into her school's jazz band. It's a 20-member band, with only one pianist. Eight pianists auditioned for the position, and my student was chosen. I'm very proud of her!
