Little Lights Preschool "Building Bright Beginnings"
Little Lights Preschool offers classes for 4-5 year olds
on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30-11:00 AM.

Our Curriculum

The curriculum at Little Lights Preschool utilizes a whole-literature approach which includes phonics, and offers children an integrated learning experience that includes language, reading, math, science, social studies, religion, physical education, and the arts. Readiness for reading is developed through rich language experiences and exposure to numerous literature based activities. The activities throughout the year will increase the children's language skills, socialization skills, imagination, and creativity. Classroom Schedule
Our daily schedule will follow this general time frame:
8:30 ~ Arrival
8:40 ~ Circle Time (calendar, weather, letters, numbers, colors, theme of the week, stories)
9:00 ~ Religion
9:20 ~ Bathroom Break and Snack
9:40 ~ Centers and Outdoor Play
10:00 ~ Math and Reading
10:20 ~ Art
10:50 ~ Prepare for Dismissal
11:00 ~ Dismissal
