📣 Exciting News for Our Mae Hensley Families!

We’re thrilled to share that starting next year, Mae Hensley will offer a Dual Language Immersion (DLI) strand as part of our programming! 🎉

Here’s what this means:
• Our DLI strand will serve students coming from Caswell Elementary who have been a part of the Dual Language Immersion program since kindergarten.
• This is not a schoolwide program, but rather a specialty strand for approximately 20% of our students. The rest of our amazing Mae Hensley programming will continue as usual!
• Students in the DLI strand will continue to develop their bilingual and biliterate skills while being part of the vibrant Warrior community.

We’re excited to expand opportunities for all students to thrive and to welcome our DLI students as they carry forward their commitment to language immersion. Thank you for your continued support as we grow and innovate to provide the best education possible.

Students, keep your Warrior Tickets safe! 💳 These can be spent at our Student Store, where every purchase also enters you into a raffle for a special lunch 🍔🍟. Winners will be announced every Friday on Instagram, ParentSquare, and our website.

✨ Here’s how it works:
✔️ Staff will recognize you for specific examples of respect, responsibility, and integrity— we want you to know exactly why you earned your ticket!
✔️ Use your tickets to shop at the Student Store.
✔️ Automatically be entered into the weekly raffle.
✔️ At the end of each month, 4 lucky 7th graders, 4 lucky 8th graders, and the staff members who recognized them will be treated to a special lunch!

🌟 Each month features a new restaurant! Get ready for favorites like In-N-Out, Canes, Chipotle, and more! 🌮🍔
