We are just a week away from the start of Northview's Homecoming Week! 🏈📣🏈📣

Planning on watching the Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 2? Preorder a sack lunch from Northview FFA Alumni!

Meal options include a pulled pork sandwich meal for a $12 donation or a hot dog meal for an $8 donation. All meals include the entrée of choice, chips, dessert, and a water.

Lunches will be available for pick-up from First Baptist Church of Bratt on Friday, October 2 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM.**

Orders can be placed using the link below. All orders and payments are due no later than Tuesday, September 29 to confirm your order. We will have limited quantities available, so act fast! Payment can be made via cash or check - with checks being made payable to Northview FFA Alumni.

Interested in showing, but not sure where to start? The GCA & NRYO Chick Chain Program is the place for you! Students receive 6 chicks of the same breed to raise and show at the spring show in April. You are only required to show and sell 2 of the 6. Registration opens September 1, 2026 online only! Let us know if you have any questions!

Congratulations to the Escambia County FFA members who participated and placed in the Escambia County Farm Bureau Speech Contest.

1st Place - Grace Oliver (Northview FFA)
2nd Place - Nathan Gilmore (Northview FFA)
3rd Place - Payton C**n (Northview FFA)

Students had to deliver a 5 minute speech to a panel of judges involved in the agricultural community. The speech topic was “What are some of the proactive, collaborative steps that farmers, ranchers, local communities, and organizations like Farm Bureau can take to help guard against invasive species threatening Florida agriculture?”

The winner of the speech contest will participate in the district level contest on September 18th. Congratulations to all!

Grace Oliver of the Northview FFA Chapter was recently selected by Florida FFA to represent the state as a delegate at the National FFA Convention and Expo in late October.

Twenty-six past and current state FFA Officers, as well as current district officers, were selected to represent Florida in the delegation process. These delegates will create, debate, and vote on policy for the entire organization, consisting of over one million students.

In recent years there have only been two other delegates selected from our area: Isabelle Jenkins of the Virtual School FFA Chapter and Ona Spinks of the Northview FFA Chapter.

Grace Oliver has been a member of the FFA since her 8th grade year at Ernest Ward Middle and has been on the executive committee of the Northview FFA Chapter for four years. She currently is serving as the District 1 FFA President and the Northview FFA President. Recently she competed at the state level in both Parliamentary Procedure and Livestock Evaluation.
