FMP's theme this year is "Centreville Rising." Look for our mentors in baby blue shirts - they're the upbeat, funny and amazing crew who are going to help our freshmen traverse the bumpy waters of high school!

Hard to believe, but it's August! Our mentor training is next week and then Freshman Orientation is in the evening of the 15th. Our theme this year for the program is "Centreville Rising." Great things are continuing and in store for CHS. Go Bulldogs!

The 2017-18 school year is almost in the books! The FMP mentor group was one of the best we've ever had. They good role models in many different ways: they showed up, helped out, worked hard (and many are returning for next year!). They ended their year with a pool party yesterday - lots of laughs, pool basketball, and junk food. Thank you to all our mentors!

Professor, parent and volunteer extraordinaire, Michelle Anders McNamara helped us round out our winter speakers. She spoke to our freshmen about communicating effectively and appropriately and gave some insight into Glen Oaks. Thanks, Michelle!

St. Joseph County United Way's director Kelly Hostetler (and her trusted sidekick, our own Carlee Odom) came and talked to our freshmen about getting involved and volunteering in our community. Thanks, Kelly and Carlee!

We ended 2017 with our annual panel
Of CHS graduates. The freshmen got perspectives on academics and sports, and advice on both HS and college from a great group of successful grads. Happy holidays!
