It starts with showing up. Daily routines at home help students build the academic skills and real-world habits they need to thrive. Here's how you can help:

- Set a regular bedtime and morning routine
- Pack bags and pick outfits the night before
- Talk through any school worries with a teacher, school counselor, or other parents
- Make a backup plan for getting to school if something comes up
- Schedule trips and appointments outside school hours when possible

Showing up is the first step to thriving academically, and parents play a crucial role in making every day count.

That first-day-of-school alarm hits different, but we survived Monday! ⏰ Bus stops, fresh kicks, brand-new notebooks, and that classic hallway shuffle to find your classes (and figure out the even/odd day schedule 🤯) are officially in the books.

It was so wonderful meeting so many of you at Open House last week. Now that we are officially in our first full week of school, the classroom is buzzing with energy as we build our routine and jump into learning.

Here is what you need to know as we get our bearings this week:

Daily Routines: We are focusing heavily on establishing procedures, getting comfortable with our classroom expectations, and building a supportive community.

Beginning of the Year Forms: If you have not filled out your beginning of the year forms, please visit your ParentVUE account and fill out those forms as soon as possible.

Stay Connected: Keep an eye out for our regular updates here so you always know what we’re diving into next.
