Just before winter break, we had a PBIS activity at APA. The boys got together for a Barber Shop Talk, where free haircuts were given, conversations were had and some games were played. The ladies were in another room making quilts and enjoying some "guy free" time.

As part of our APA mission to serve others, the students and staff brought in food items to fill three overflowing boxes. These boxes were then sent to Grasonville Elementary, Sudlersville Elementary, and Centreville Elementary schools where they were given to a family to help brighten their holidays.

Mr. Kintop recently attended the National Alternative Education Association conference. There are many great people out there working to fill all the alternative needs of children. There were great opportunities to hear how things are done around the country through break-out sessions, guest panels, and Keynote speakers. This will only help us improve what we do, how we do it, and who we do it for, here in Queen Anne's County!
