We had a great day over at BCCA! We want to extend a huge thank you to the lovely guest speakers who presented at our career day: Ms. Holly Hall, Mrs. Hannah Shirley Millwood, Mrs. Ivey Rosser, Mrs. Sherry and Mrs. Jody from White Willow Events, and Mr. Ashton Cottingham! It's great to have local businesses, community members, 4H agents, and universities involved in building the future of our youth!

Guess what's back👀👀

For the 3rd year, we are selling the most delicious strawberries! Prices (and taste) are locked in from last year, so don't worry about inflation here!🔒 Please share our post to get the word out and support Bibb County FFA!

Pickup will be announced closer to date and the rumor mill is spreading that Mrs. Cleckler may be able to deliver this year😉

It's been a busy couple of weeks here in Bibb County! After passing the safety test at the beginning of the year, students jumped into action in the shop! So far we have thoroughly cleaned out our tool rooms to make room for some much needed counters and work benches, build the first of several raised garden beds, and created fall themed floral arrangements for the WOW conference!

A quick recap of our spring at Bibb County!
We were well represented at State Convention this week with our president, Natalie Evans, showcasing her beautiful singing voice in the Talent showcase!
We wrapped up this year with 10 students being Certified in the Land Surveyer Technician course through Shelton State, 4 students certified in Landscape Management, and more than 30 students certified in NCCER! We successfully renovated our Greenhouse with the help of the Tombigbee RC&D- so be on the lookout next year for our first ever plant sale!

We are so proud of all our students and are so thankful for our partnerships with Tombigbee RC&D, Bibb County 4H, and the Bibb County Cattlemens Association! We can't wait for next year!

What a great day! The Bibb County FFA and Horticulture Class got to team up with Ms. Holly Hall and the Bibb Co 4H program to get some great field experience!!
We want to give a HUGE thank you to Bronson for the tour of the Botanical Gardens yesterday. It was an awesome experience for the students to speak to a Horticulture Specialist and learn about Alabama Plants, jobs in Horticulture, and how they can make a difference in the environment!
We also want to give a HUGE thank you to Mr. Ashton Cottingham with the Bibb County ALFA office for sponsoring lunch for our trip! Thank you for continuing to support Ag Education in Bibb County's students!

The next organization we want to thank is the Tombigbee RC&D council! We received a grant from the Tombigbee RC&D to restore the greenhouse at BCCA. Students have worked hard all year to clean up the greenhouse, repair walls, build new growing benches, and install a new ventilation system! We have a few more things coming, but we wanted to give the Council and our legislators the thanks that they deserve!

We have a lot to be thankful for here at Bibb County FFA! We want to give a HUGE thank you to the Bibb County Cattlemens Association for their donation to our chapter back in January! This donation is being used to purchase jackets for our members- it's great to see Bibb County FFA getting back into action!
