🐄🐖🐑 LIVESTOCK CLUB IS BACK! 🐐

Cherokee County 4-H & DeKalb County 4-H are teaming up for another great year of Livestock Club! 🌱

📅 Interest Meeting: September 9
📍 Sand Mountain Research Station – 13112 AL-68, Crossville, AL 35962
⏰ 4:00–5:30 PM
👧🧑 Ages 9–18

Throughout the year, members will have opportunities to learn about cattle, goats, sheep, swine, animal care, and more! 🐮🐷🐑

Want to participate? Getting involved is easy—and it only takes 15 minutes:
• Print your counting sheet.
• Find a pollinator-friendly plant.
• Watch for 15 minutes.
• Record the insects that land.
• Upload your count.

Whether you count in your backyard, garden, schoolyard or community, your observations become part of a larger scientific effort to better understand and conserve pollinators across the Southeast.

People of all ages can participate, so grab your family, coworkers, classmates or friends and head outside. Even Aubie is counting—will you join him?

🍀🍀Attention all Cherokee County 4-H members! 🍀🍀
We will be holding an interest meeting for our brand new Shotgun Club at Sand Rock Town Hall on September 29th at 5:00pm. This meeting is required if you wish to participate in later club events. You'll have an opportunity to meet the club leaders and ask any questions you may have. We hope to see you there!

🍀🍀Calling all Cherokee County 10th-12th graders!!! 🍀🍀

4-H Youth Leadership Council applications are live!!!

Your High School Counselor has them and you can email Mrs. Beth @ [email protected] for one as well!

We are seeking a diverse group of students with a desire to serve their community with their different strengths, interests, and backgrounds. Applications are due September 10th!

**Seniors will be eligible for 4-H Scholarships through participation in this club!
