One entry per 4-Her (ages 9-18)
Due by Oct. 29 at 4pm

Winners will be announced on Halloween and all participants receive a special 4-H pumpkin ribbon!!!🍀🎃

🍀🛶Cherokee County 4-H RiverKids got in on the fun with the Great Alabama 650 racers this weekend. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

🛶 4-H leadership council members served at the pre-race dinner Friday night. Then Saturday morning we enjoyed paddling and cheering on these hard working paddlers from all over the world! 4-Hers met racers from Estonia, New Zeland, England and Canada! The competitors come to Weiss Lake in hopes to win the nation’s longest paddle race that starts right here in Cherokee County!

🍀We hope to encourage you to get outside, paddle your local rivers and consider joining us next year!!!🍀

Good luck to all the amazing folks paddling all the way to the mobile bay!!! Go 4-H!

Join us and the Cherokee County Alabama Master Gardeners October 12th from 10am-12pm at Slackland Beach in Leesburg!

All Cherokee County 4-Hers are welcome to join us and the Cherokee County Master Gardeners for a FREE fun day at Slackland Beach Park in Leesburg! We will have swag bags provided by Alabama Power and lot of educational opportunities as our Cherokee County Master Gardener friends interpret the wonders of this local park!

Cherokee County 4-H Shooting Sports Club got kicked off this evening. Thanks to the Town of Sand Rock for allowing us to use the town hall. We are partnering with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department to bring this club to the county. Knowledge of fi***rm safety and learning to shoot properly is a priority of the program. Thanks to all who came out tonight, we had a full house! Club Leaders: Wess Everett and Randy Smith

CES 4th graders enjoyed their first 4-H club meetings today! They elected officers and learned about all the fun 4-H programs and contest they’ll do throughout the year!
