⭐️ Seniors practicing feeding ( we feed blind folded so they get a sense of how it feels to rely on someone)
⭐️ First year students dissected chicken after learning about the integumentary, muscular, and skeletal systems
⭐️ While our Juniors took the ACT yesterday the sophomores took advantage of having the room to themselves and used chalk markers to draw on the tables to review blood flow through the heart.

Back in December, these students took the nursing assisting and medical terminology tests and scored in the top 100 in the state, which earned them a spot at the State Leadership Conference. They competed at the state level yesterday, and although they may not have won, I’m incredibly proud of them.

Cherokee County Schools Will Operate on a Normal Schedule Tomorrow

We are expecting bitterly cold conditions in the area on Tuesday and Wednesday, particularly during the morning hours.

Please ensure your children are dressed warmly for school, including wearing layers, coats, hats, and gloves. If your child waits outside for transportation, consider keeping them indoors until their transportation arrives. If they must be outside, ensure they are dressed appropriately for the weather.

Extreme cold can pose serious health risks, such as frostbite and hypothermia, so please take the necessary precautions to stay safe.

Thank you Mrs Heather Money for organizing a tour of JSU’s healthcare programs and thank you JSU for having us. Students were able to tour the amazing Athletic Training, Nursing, and Respiratory Therapy departments.
