The Trump Accounts (Section 530A) are a real federal program. Eligible children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028 can receive a one-time $1,000 government contribution into a tax-advantaged investment account if a parent or authorized guardian opens the account and elects the pilot contribution. The funds are invested in low-cost U.S. index funds and generally remain invested until the child reaches adulthood.
Here's what's accurate:
✅ As of now, the accounts are limited to qualifying low-cost U.S. index mutual funds and ETFs
How do parents sign up?
