Hello friends, it’s been a while since I’ve activated this page. Once upon a time my house became a sweet juicy community place. Then, in true sag fashion, I went on to the next adventure.
Now my heart is circling ‘round to community again.
I know how to make it. With clarity enough to balance the warmth and love and inevitable personality and ego clashes.
I’ve been part of forming communities since I was a little girl in the flow of my mother’s meetings to coordinate the purchase of the land around the cove.
What will we make? Residential (rent or own), online only, neighborhood based? Around the theme of parents, getting older, multi age?
What aspects of community are you hungry for?

I’m at home- like most of us- nesting with my daughter and her baby.
We shall see what 2022 brings us, but for now most of my extended social life is online.
Look for laughter yoga after the new year, online till spring, then outdoors.

What is community?
Right now my daily life community is pretty small, and very sweet.
Here’s a couple things I’m up to. Stay tuned for further developments on larger community
This crazy wild year continues, and here at home we have both wonder and exhaustion. Wonder? This awesome soul called Emmett, my grandson, is growing and changing so sweetly.
Yesterday he trapped his mama in bed for hours and hours for nursing and sleep- then in the evening she showed me where he’d cut his second tooth!!!
Beautiful boy. Expertly loving mama.
I’m happy.
I’m also busily dipping chocolate truffles and adding a bit more honey to all of it. We need extra sweetness right now.

Community takes many forms, here is an update on how I’m experiencing community right now.
My dear friend Brian Schultenover is sharing his house with me, Maddy Compass Rose, Maddy’s son Emmett, Golden the dog and dozens of plants in pots. Not to mention dozens of brewing adaptogenic mushroom tinctures.
Today the vision emerged of a nursery/apothecary. I’d love to live in that. The tiny house village is right next door.
