Over 200 6th -9th students participated in the 30th annual Expanding Your Horizons Conference on Saturday, Oct. 18. Students attended a fun, physics-oriented assembly by OMSI and two career workshops ranging from a variety of options including wildlife biology, epidemiology, veterinary science, dentistry, medicine, law enforcement, forensics, and art. In total, there were 18 workshops to choose from. Great door prizes were awarded to lucky winners and parents attended their own workshop to learn about preparing their children for college.

Attention all juniors and seniors. There will be a college fair at Saint Martin's University in Lacey, WA on Monday, October 13 from 5:30pm-7:30pm

It's that time of year again!! Expanding Your Horizons is accepting registrations. All 6-9th grade students who are interested can pick up a brochure at their school. All registrations need to be turned in by October 8, 2025.

And that's a wrap! The 2025 TRIO TS Coding Camp concluded yesterday and all participants went home with a video game that they created! Next year this event will be held June 22-25 and will be offered to 7th-9th grade TS participants. Mark your calendar now if you want to participate in this creative and fun event.
