📅 The rescheduling lawsuit has a requested briefing calendar into 2027.

DOJ and eleven challengers proposed D.C. Circuit briefing through February 19, 2027. That's a request, not a court decision date. DEA's separate hearing remains paused, with the government's response due October 13; its public registration page lists Form 225 for medical ma*****na manufacturers, distributors and labs.

‘Quantum ma*****na’: why the federal schedules split by category. The April 28 rule places covered FDA-approved ma*****na products and state-licensed medical ma*****na in Schedule III; ma*****na outside those categories remains Schedule I. Scheduling does not remove other federal requirements.

Colorado v**e recall: an ingredient can trigger a finished-product recall.

In this September 27 CLN excerpt, Thomas discusses the Staycon/Craft recall and the alpha-pinene ingredient identified in the company’s notice. Colorado’s September 25 advisory identifies affected batches made with an ingredient containing methylene chloride.

October 9 is a court briefing deadline—not a promised ma*****na rescheduling date. The D.C. Circuit's September 9 order denied an interim stay and requested proposed briefing formats within 30 days; it did not decide the merits or order broader rescheduling.

Thomas makes the case for a regulated system in this excerpt from our September 27 show. The clip discusses a possible broader Schedule III change; it does not announce a new final rule or federal legalization.
