Making the decision to put my daughter in Catholic school was not so difficult because we have always believed it is a place where she would meet God and all his goodness at the same time that she would receive His academic education. At Our Lady of Providence, we find people with a very big heart, like Principal Swift and all the teachers. Thank you to people as generous as you! The dream of keeping my daughter in this environment becomes a reality every year. I thank God for all his goodness and I wish each of you that God continues to bless your lives with great health and happiness.

Why am I here? What is the life I was made for? Is there a God? Does He even care about me?

These are questions we all ask ourselves. Are there answers? Can true peace be found? The Search unapologetically reveals that you were made for God, that your home is found beyond yourself, and that Jesus is the way.

This Lent, we are inviting YOU to journey through The Search with your own small group (and if you don't have a small group yet...we encourage you to start one!). In fact, each week Chris Stefanick from Real Life Catholic will be guiding us throughout Lent on how to use The Search in your own small group during his weekly show The Life You Were Made For.

Back to school and nothing’s going to stop the learning...or the fun!!

Wonderful first day of school! We are busy getting used to our new “normal.” It was so nice to see so many “smiling eyes!”

Our Lady of Providence will reopen 5 days a week for all students. We are continuing update our Reopening plan, which was developed with the guidance of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, along with Perrotta Consulting, an emergency operations planning company. We will strive to meet or exceed all CDC and NYS guidelines to create the safest possible environment for our students and teachers. Our plans are available at www.olprov.org/reopening. You will always find the latest information there.
At this time, we have seats available in some grade levels. We are also offering the choice of distance learning for all or part of the year.

Office open Tuesday, August 11th, and Thursday, August 13th, 10 AM to 1 PM. Social distancing will be maintained. Please call before coming to school.
