ATTENTION ALL PARENTS:

Safehaven Child Care will be closed starting today, Friday 2/19/21 thru Friday 2/26/21.

The SCC family has suffered a great loss. Our beloved assistant provider, Maggie "Peachy" Gray, passed away and the family will need time before resuming business again.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to servicing you and your family again soon.

Hello Families. Please be advised, as a reminder, Safehaven Child Care will be closed for winter break, December 24th to January 1st. We will reopen on Monday, January 4th. We wish you you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a healthy New Year.

UPDATE: Good evening everyone. Just letting everyone know that we now have lights and will be open for business tomorrow. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Look forward to seeing you this week.

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS:

Our facility is still without power at this time and we are awaiting PSEG to fix the outage as soon as possible.

We are still monitoring the situation as to whether or not we will need to remain close. If the temperature continues to rise, no electricity eliminates the use of fans and A/C, which would prevent us from caring for the children properly in those conditions.

At this time we are preparing to be closed, but may have a delayed opening if our lights are back on early enough in the morning. We will keep everyone posted.

Central Islip School District has uploaded potential plans for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. This plan may change depending on direction from NY State.

Attention All Parents:
Safehaven Child Care will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, 2020 in observance of Independence Day.

Day care will reopen on Monday, July 6th, 2020 during regularly scheduled hours.

As always, please remember to refer to your yearly closure schedule provided in your parent handbook annually. Please find alternate care during this closure and enjoy your weekend.

Attention All Parents:
Please be advised that all Central Islip Schools are closed until March 30th due to the Coronavirus.

Of note, day care will be open at this time, but only for children that are well and free of symptoms to reduce the spread of any potential infections to the other children and workers within the program.
