Today we celebrate more than earning a GED—we celebrate hard work, determination, courage, and perseverance. This graduate stayed focused and refused to give up. Every step, every study session, and every obstacle overcome led to this incredible accomplishment.

Your GED is proof it’s never too late to chase your goals and create a better future. We are so proud of you and all the dedication you showed to get here! Jose plans to get his CDL credential next, and we know he has the drive to succeed in this career!

Congratulations to Kyla Brooks! She is officially a GED graduate!!

We are all so proud of Kyla for her achievement, and we look forward to seeing her succeed in the future. Her husband, Chris, has been a great supporter through her GED journey. She plans to attend MCC for a degree in Business Management.

Kyla wanted to share an encouraging scripture that helped her through her GED. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33.

A Personal Message from Cathy Bethel, Public Health Director, Muhlenberg County Health Department

Every 2 years, Owensboro Health conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment. It's important that each citizen's voice is heard.

The health department and other organizations partner with them and use this information to apply grant funding to address as many needs as possible in our county.

⭐️Quick Participation: It only takes a few
minutes of your time.

⭐️Completely Anonymous: Your responses are
confidential.

⭐️Third-Party Analysis: Once someone
completes the survey the results
automatically go to Blueprint Kentucky at
the University of Kentucky.

Participation has been low in the past, but the information collected is vital to Owensboro Health and the community partners.

I have faith in the citizens of Muhlenberg County and believe we can demonstrate how it’s done! I am personally reaching out to ask for your help to “Rock The Survey”!
