This year at the Iowa State Fair, our chapter got to show off our talent in many different fields such as livestock, field crops, and floriculture! 💙💛

The members that went to fair are of the following:

Emma Dietsch was also a fantastic representation of Jones County and our chapter as the 2026 Jones County Fair Queen in the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest! 👑

This is an amazing time for our members to show off what they’ve learned and we are all very proud of what they have gotten to do. Help us in recognizing our members for the hard work they have put into their projects this year! 🚜

Linn Co Fair Animal Exhibitors 🎡

🚜🚜What an absolutely incredible Thursday we had at the fair! For Kids’ Day, we hosted our annual Little Hands on the Farm exhibit, and the turnout completely blew us away. We welcomed over 1,500 guests who rolled up their sleeves and got a real taste of farm life! 🍎🌽🥕🥛🥚
The best part? After completing their chores, the kids took their hard-earned harvest straight to the Farm Store. There, they traded in their produce and eggs for a well-deserved prize! It was a fantastic way to teach them how food gets from the field to the shelves, all while having a blast.

This Wednesday, the new officer team traveled down to Waterloo at Hawkeye Community College and got to participate it in Chapter Officer Leadership Training! Or more commonly known as C.O.L.T.! 🐮

The officers had a very fun time and got to learn about how to be a better officer for our chapter as well as our community! 🌽

This is only the beginning for this officer team and we cannot wait to see where these officers will take us! 🇺🇸

On Friday May 8th FFA Members and students helped educate over 1,000 students and staff from many local elementary schools about agriculture at the annual Ag in the Park Event hosted with the other Linn County FFA Chapters. Our chapter had many different exhibits to teach the students about all the areas of Agriculture. Thank you to such a huge turn out of members to help make this event great! 🚜 🐄🦙🦃🌱🌾
