✨ Signs for Success: Investing in Our Community! ✨

We’re excited to highlight a few of the local businesses who recently took advantage of the first round of MEGA’s Signs for Success Grant!

Sponsored by Muhlenberg Economic Growth Alliance (MEGA) through the Felix E. Martin Jr. Foundation, the Signs for Success program was created to help local businesses with the cost of new signage, updating existing signs, or removing dilapidated signage — all with the goal of creating a more attractive and welcoming community for residents, visitors, and customers.

👏 We want to recognize Legacy 6, Coal County Furniture & Mattress, and Pogue and Company for making an investment in their businesses and caring about the image they present to our community and our guests.

A business’s appearance makes a lasting impression, and these businesses are showing that taking pride in your business also means taking pride in our community! ❤️

We’re looking forward to seeing these signs come to life and are excited to share more Signs for Success stories as businesses complete their projects and new signs are installed!

Attendees will have the opportunity to:
-Learn what it takes to become a truck driver
-See CDL training trucks up close
-Meet instructors
-Learn about upcoming training opportunities
-Get enrollment questions answered

We are asking our community partners to help us spread the word by sharing the attached flyer with employees, customers, clients, job seekers, community members, and anyone who may be interested in starting a new career.

MEGA’s upcoming Expungement Fair is coming up on September 22, 2026, and we’re here to help Muhlenberg County residents take a step toward a fresh start.

If you qualify for expungement, MEGA will cover the $40 application fee when you attend the event. Plus, through our From Record to Expungement grant, eligible residents may receive reimbursement for a large portion of record-clearance costs.

A clear record can open doors to new jobs, housing, and new opportunities.
