Gi Yu Dojo Through martial arts, we develop students who are not just great warriors, but leaders with great character, through the principles of justice and courage

On the surface it seems to be a Martial Arts School - and YES, it is that. But it is so much more. It is a place where a person's body is forged...their mind strengthened...their spirit lifted. A place to learn how to defend oneself and those that cannot defend themselves
A place to challenge yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually. A place to take the ordinary and make it extraordinary! A

place where you come in to work on YOURSELF so you are more productive for those you love - your family, friends, and community. The Dojo is a place of learning, but there IS a higher calling to Budo - to be self-reliant, self-sufficient and charitable to our community. The only way you can help others is when you have strengthened your CORE being and can be strong for them! We are NOT a gym, social club, ego-filled male gratification club, or extracurricular hobby. We TRAIN in art forms that principally have not changed. We are training for live, instilling CHARACTER in ourselves and in the adults and children in our dojo and in our communities.
