We had a wonderful time reconnecting with alumni at our Centerville Campus Alumni Reception this past weekend! It was great to welcome Warriors back to campus, share memories, and celebrate the people and experiences that make Indian Hills so special.

The celebration also included a special ribbon cutting for the new Gorden Falls, dedicated in honor of former Executive Dean, Noel Gorden. Her leadership, service, commitment, and advocacy have played an instrumental role in the growth and success of our Centerville campus, helping create a lasting legacy for future generations.

A special thank-you to the Appanoose County Community Fund and Superior Electric for their generous support of this project.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a memorable day of connection, celebration, and Warrior pride.

Indian Hills Community College has been awarded federal TRIO grants that will help expand educational opportunities for students across Southeast Iowa.

The funding supports programs that help students prepare for college, navigate the admissions and financial aid processes, explore careers, build academic skills and ultimately achieve their educational goals.

Through TRIO programs such as Educational Talent Search and Upward Bound, Indian Hills provides free support and resources to eligible middle and high school students as they prepare for life after high school.

These programs are helping make college more accessible and providing students with the guidance and support they need to take their next step.

We're ready for Indian Hills Baseball season!

Recently at Rotary our guest speaker was John Dorman. He is the Indian Hills Community College Buildings and Trade Director. Dorman has been with IHCC for 12 years, 10 of those as the Building and Trades Director. Dorman says 14 houses have been built in Centerville by the building and trades classes. Those 14 houses have added $4,000,000 of tax base to our community and have provided needed affordable housing for families. Last year 112 high school students and college students participated in the program. For high school students their is no charge for participation in the building and trades construction classes. Dorman was invited to speak at Rotary by invitation from Joni Kelley, the IHCC Centerville Campus Executive Dean in Centerville. In this picture:
