This role will teach health-related courses at Ottumwa High School through the Health Careers Academy Program, while also teaching nursing theory and guiding students through real-world clinical experiences.

Recently at Rotary our guest speaker was John Dorman. He is the Indian Hills Community College Buildings and Trade Director. Dorman has been with IHCC for 12 years, 10 of those as the Building and Trades Director. Dorman says 14 houses have been built in Centerville by the building and trades classes. Those 14 houses have added $4,000,000 of tax base to our community and have provided needed affordable housing for families. Last year 112 high school students and college students participated in the program. For high school students their is no charge for participation in the building and trades construction classes. Dorman was invited to speak at Rotary by invitation from Joni Kelley, the IHCC Centerville Campus Executive Dean in Centerville. In this picture:
