Fall is upon us! 🍁 A few important reminders:

Picture Day is Tuesday — please send your student with a smile! 📸Tuesday is also the last day of Term 1 — early dismissal at 1:30 PM. Please make arrangements for your student to get home safely.

No school Wednesday through Friday for Fall Break.

We’ll miss our Mustangs during break and wish everyone a safe and enjoyable time! 🍂

Please join us in congratulating one of our outstanding Mustangs who was recognized by our principal, Mrs. Jamie Moon, at the annual "Soup with the Supt." with Superintendent Dr. Dan Linford. 🥣✨ As our administration said, "She has the biggest heart and consistently goes out of her way to include others. She is incredibly thoughtful and has been spotted several times at recess being a kind and caring friend. She makes a special effort to include anyone who may need a friend, helping everyone feel welcomed and valued. She is so warm and friendly that everyone enjoys being around her." We are so grateful for the positive impact she’s made on our school community — thank you and congratulations!

📣BOO TO THE FLU is on Thursday from 3:00-6:00 pm. Community Nursing Services is partnering with us to protect our students and staff against the flu. Get vaccinated against the flu! Reduced and no-cost flu vaccines will be available to individuals and families who are uninsured and unable to pay. CNS is able to bill many insurances with no copay. Welcome back, Mustangs!

Taylor Elementary School kicked off the new school year in true Mustang style! Our new principal, Jamie Moon, and the staff donned cowboy hats, while teachers rode stick horses with their new students through the inflatable horseshoe arch.

Max the Mustang was there to give students high fives as they made their way through the arch and into a brand-new school year. What a fun way to gallop into the year!

Tonight is Back to School Night — open house style! 🐴 Come meet your new teacher, explore the school, and get comfortable with classroom locations.
