This class starts tomorrow morning! Join us!

Are you stiff? Tight? Sore? Feel like you just don’t move quite as easily as you used to?

You don’t need to be flexible to take a stretch class. That’s kind of the point. 😂

I’m adding a brand-new Adult Stretch + Mobility class at Studio B!

We’ll spend 30 minutes working on flexibility, mobility, range of motion and releasing some of that everyday tightness we all seem to collect as adults.

Tuesdays + Thursdays | 6:30–7:00 AM
6-week session | $85
Starting Tuesday, August 25th!

That’s 12 classes for $85—a little over $7 per class.

No dance experience. No crazy flexibility. No judgment. Just 30 minutes, twice a week, to take care of your body before you start your day. 💗

Buffy’s Studio B Alumni Spotlight

I have so many great memories of Addie at dance! She is such a talented girl and was always fun to work with! She always gave me her best and was so respectful! Addie could take any choreography and make it look amazing! My favorite routines that she did that always stand out to me are “Me Against the Music,” “In Love With a Monster” and of course her lyrical duet with Haddie. They were so great together!

From Addie -
“My years in the dance studio taught me lessons that continue to shape both my personal and professional life today. Dance taught me patience in learning new skills, and the importance of inclusivity and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Most importantly, it taught me humility and integrity: to do the right thing even when no one is watching, and always strive to be a better teammate and person. Studio B gave me the space to learn these lessons and gain lifelong friends while doing so.”

Buffy’s Studio B Alumni Spotlight 💗

Jerica is hands down one of the nicest human beings you will ever meet. Not ONCE did she walk into dance with a bad attitude or even hint at being unhappy, frustrated or upset. This girl absolutely loved being at the studio, and expressed her gratitude often. She was so easy to teach and an excellent role model in the studio then, and still today!

I have two great memories of Jerica. The first one was on picture day, her very first year of dance. I think she was 8 or 9. I had her pose in a tendu and her FEET. I remember saying to her mom, “Oh, she’s going to be GOOD!!! Look at her feet!” The second one was at a competition when she got a judge’s choice award. I never care about trophies and honestly couldn’t tell you what place anyone got a year ago, let alone a decade ago. But judge’s choice awards are special. Jerica got the Gumby Award. If you’ve even watched her dance, you know why. This girl is beyond flexible!

I am so grateful to have Jerica now working at the studio. She continues to be an amazing role model. She is patient, kind and always so supportive! We are lucky to have her!

From Jerica- “I truly can’t say enough good things about my experience with you and at the studio from the first day I walked in! I truly wouldn’t be who I am if it wasn’t for you and the studio!

Dancing at Buffy’s Studio B & Company has taught me so much more than just learning choreography. It taught me self-confidence, the importance of always working hard, and to never give up—even when something doesn’t work or isn’t perfect. It taught me how to work as a team, support others, and so much more.

Buffy’s is not only a place to dance and learn new skills; it’s a second family where I have always felt loved, supported, and included. I am beyond honored to now have the opportunity to teach at the studio that helped shape me into the person I am today.”

Buffy’s Studio B Alumni Spotlight 💗

Lauren started out as such a shy, quiet little girl. She was always listening so intently and absorbing everything she could… while barely speaking a word. 😂

Then somewhere along the way, that quiet little girl absolutely became a STAR.

One of my favorite memories of Lauren actually happened outside the dance studio…watching her compete for Iowa State Fair Queen. She had IT. I remember sitting there just sobbing watching her. She was so poised, confident and completely herself.

Lauren was always such a well-rounded kid—sports, school activities, dance—and she had so many wonderful people helping shape and support her along the way. But I’m incredibly proud that dance and Studio B got to be one little piece of her story. And seeing that confidence carry into the woman she is today? That’s what this series is all about. 💗

From Lauren- “Dance has always been a way for me to connect with my own emotions and self-image. I loved dancing at Buffy’s because I always felt celebrated and lifted up. I will always remember my nana picking me up from sports practice and taking me straight to dance at Buffy’s- she always spoiled me with dinner on the way. I’ve met my closest friends through studio and collegiate dance. Dance has given me so much confidence in myself to navigate my professional and personal life. I’m grateful that dance has been such a constant part of my life and that I’ve been able to grow with it over the years!”🩷
