The Centerville FFA hosted Ag Day with all 3rd graders on May 10th! Members brought pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, rabbits, and pigs to teach students about. There was also a tractor to teach about farm safety, a group that planted plants, and a station to learn how to make butter.

Don’t forget to come see us tomorrow May 4th from 9am - 1pm. We are located on the SOUTH SIDE of the high school in the gravel parking lot. The entrance to the gravel parking lot is across from the intersection of S 10th and E Wall. When you pull into the gravel lot the greenhouse is to the right of door 20 behind the semi trailer. Below are photos of what we have left. We also have 2.8 cu/ft bags of soil available. Thank you for all of your support!!

Today the Centerville FFA had four members compete in Horse Judging at the Mt. Ayr Judging Contest. The team consisted of Jaxton Joiner, Kimmie Johnson, Jace Donels, and Jameson McDanolds. They placed 9th overall!

Last of the state convention highlights!

⭐️Lauren Phillips and Kenly Shilling served as voting delegates

⭐️Bella Sales and Kimmie Johnson took the Greenhand Quiz and both received a silver rating

⭐️Poultry Judging team of Ryan McDanolds, Ethan Willingham, Kylie Ewing, and Jace Donels received a bronze

⭐️Kayley Swartz was able to be a member of the FFA Band and perform at the sessions

⭐️Chapter Display by Kenly Shilling, Lauren Phillips, and Jaxton Joiner received bronze
