Ms. Rooney's Intro to Outdoor Recreation and Tourism students traveled to Osage Park to learn about outdoor recreation, environmental stewardship, and the importance of connecting with nature. Students participated in an interactive scavenger hunt that challenged them to explore the park, observe their surroundings, and apply concepts learned in class to a real-world outdoor recreation setting.

The PSAT/NMSQT will take place on October 20. All 10th and 11th graders are automatically registered for the PSAT for free. This test serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) when taken in 11th grade (or the year just prior to graduation year). Ninth graders may find it beneficial to take early and often. Ninth graders may register and get more details at tinyurl.com/1020PSAT.

Students who are not enrolled in Bentonville Schools may be able to participate in the PSAT as well. More information is available at BentonvilleK12.org > Departments > Assessment.
