Big thank you to Jeff Lennie from Center Machine and John Grounds with Grounds Construction who came in a couple days a week for 7 weeks to work with the students. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to work with the class, they really enjoyed it!

For the past 2 months, BNI Coal has been sending in a couple of their welders twice a week to help out our Ag 4 class with welding. They’ve taught them the importance of cleaning metal, different joints, how to improve their beads, and much more. We wrapped up the welding unit with a trip to BNI this afternoon to check out their welding bay and explore some draglines to let the students see what their day-to-day looks like.

Huge shoutout to BNI for taking the time to come to the school to work with the students and providing all of the materials and then some. We’re so lucky to have businesses in our community who show such support in our program!
