Center Point Area Historical Preservation Association The CPAHPA is a 501(C)(3) organization established to preserve the history and culture of our area. The purpose of the Association is:
1.

To preserve and honor the oral and written history and significant historical items of the Center Point Area.
2. To provide historical education and participatory opportunities for the children of Center Point Area.
3. To promote cooperative participation of the community in historical preservation. Membership is open to all interested persons. Dues are $10 per year, per person. Meetings are held on the second Thursday each month at 5pm.

The CPAHPA will hold its Annual Meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 30th. All members are welcome to attend.
The Board has approved By Laws changes and the membership will have the opportunity to vote on those by -laws - or amend them - at the meeting.
If you are a member and have not received the proposed by laws by email, please let us know.

This is a reminder that there will be a meeting tonight, Aug 26, at 6 p.m. of the general membership at the Red Roof Building.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our Vice President James Stout. Please keep Kim Oliver in your prayers as she recovers.
James was a kind, talented, gentle man who cared deeply for his community and would help anyone who needed assistance. He will be greatly missed.

Our flags for the utility poles in CP have arrived!
We need a few folks tomorrow afternoon at 2pm to put each flag on a flag pole. It will only take about half an hour in the air conditioning in the Red Roof building.
We need your help 2-2:30pm tomorrow.
What better thing can you do to celebrate June 14th - our national Flag Day?! ..
