This year’s Summer Band Concert marked a fantastic finale to another great season. Students entering grades 6-12 took the stage after four weeks of rehearsals to showcase their hard work, talent, and love of music.

Now in its fourth year, the Center Moriches Music Booster Club's Summer Band Program brings young musicians together to build their skills, form lasting connections, and learn from one another through the power of music. Congratulations to all of our performers on an outstanding concert!

We are pleased to share the results of today’s Center Moriches Board of Education Reorganization Meeting, held on July 8, 2026.

During the meeting, Mr. Richard Raupp was officially sworn in as the District’s newest Board Trustee. We are pleased to welcome him to the Board of Education and look forward to his service to the Center Moriches community.

The Board also elected its officers for the 2026-2027 school year. Mr. Brian Tenety was elected to serve a second term as President of the Board of Education, and Mr. John Thoms was elected Vice President. We appreciate their continued leadership and commitment to our students, staff, and community.

In addition, Dr. Dawn DiPeri and Ms. Shawna Walsh will continue their service as Board Trustees, bringing valuable experience and dedication to the important work of the Board.

We were also proud to swear in our Student Ex-Officio Board Members, Alexander Foster and Emily George. Their voices and perspectives will provide meaningful student representation as the Board continues its work on behalf of the Center Moriches School District.

On behalf of the Center Moriches Union Free School District, congratulations to all of our newly elected and continuing Board members. Thank you for your willingness to serve our school community. We look forward to a successful and productive 2026-2027 school year under your leadership.
