Rating the gym so far:
🧱 Concrete subfloor? Somehow still iconic
🥽 Hard hats required? Very coach-core
📐 Vision? Immaculate
😍 Coach hearts eyes fr fr? Already confirmed, floor or no floor

Not us already mentally planning relay races and four-square tournaments on a floor that doesn't exist yet 🏃‍♀️

8th Graders Getting Hands-On with Algebra!

Who says equations have to be boring? This week our mathematicians traded pencils for Algebra Tiles and built equations block by block!

Step 1: Model the equation with tiles
Step 2: Solve it using the properties of equality
Step 3: Level up — create a trickier equation that takes multiple properties to crack
Step 4: Swap equations with a partner pair and solve each other's challenges!

It's problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking all rolled into one hands-on lesson. Who knew balancing an equation could look this fun?!

🚧 Exciting progress at our school! 🚧

Crews are hard at work on our new gym and the new sidewalks on the north side of campus. We appreciate your patience as we build spaces that will benefit our students for years to come!
