Simchat Torah Beit Midrash®, led by Ralph Messer, is on a mission to enrich American culture by instilling essential life skills grounded in the principles of the Torah. Their approach focuses on fostering values and principles of character, honor, and integrity. By emphasizing the significance of these qualities, STBM aims to inspire individuals to lead lives that can positively impact the world, and cultivate a society where individuals strive for excellence and contribute meaningfully to their communities. They believe that instilling these values from a young age is crucial for building a future generation that upholds the principles of character, honor, and integrity. Through educational programs and community initiatives, STBM works to reinforce the bonds of family, promoting a nurturing environment where these values can flourish. In essence, STBM and Ralph Messer envision a world where the teachings derived from the Torah guide individuals to live with purpose and contribute to the betterment of society. By integrating this wisdom into everyday life, they aim to promote a culture that honors God and His Words, fostering a more just and compassionate world. Ralph Messer is the founder and president of STBM (Simchat Torah Beit Midrash), an organization that has developed digital platforms that specialize in learning and business experience. Public speaking, internet, television, radio, digital media, DVDs, CDs, and literature all play a part in STBM’s outreach effort. “Simchat Torah” means “Joy of God’s Teaching and Instruction.” “Beit Midrash” means “House of Study.” Simchat Torah Beit Midrash (STBM) International offers just that: joy in study. Ralph Messer is also the founder and president of ICTS (International Center for Torah Studies), whose mission is to build a foundation for men and women to reach their potential and successfully grow in a global economy and culture. Throughout the world, he has set up learning centers in order to teach authentic business principles, as well as fundamental moral principles. Additionally, Ralph is the current founder and owner of a television network (Torah.TV), which is globally based, using satellite and over 30 television stations which are owned and facilitated out of Parker, Colorado, in the United States. Through STBM, ICTS, and his television network, along with his knowledge and experience, Ralph aims to:
• motivate people to reach their potential so that they will find themselves and their businesses operating at new, extraordinary levels
• actively reach out to people in order to teach, encourage, and strengthen them to be leaders and to have moral character and attributes
• train people to be integral and successful in business
• promote and encourage healthy family life
• foster community and economic growth
In improving their lives, they will, in turn, improve the world. Ralph Messer is a dynamic public speaker, an influential teacher, a compelling author, a successful businessman, and an entrepreneur. His educational background includes degrees in accounting and business administration. For 25 years he was a regional vice-president of a Fortune 500 company, where the focus was loss control and safety engineering, with commercial auditing and finance review in banking and credit-based industries. In addition, Ralph is committed to raising awareness about the importance of Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and the Israeli-Jewish culture and lifestyle—as they are all an integral part of a country which is now becoming the next Silicon Valley and MIT of the world in global technology related to education. By using the ethics, principles, and educational models offered in the Torah, Ralph’s passion is to inspire others—regardless of religious affiliation or background—to connect with, invest in, and support the Land of Israel.
