Shining Stars Daycare

a child care home that is warm and loving to help your child's daycare experience to be unique, fun and safe. I offer a fun-filled day with educational activities, preschool, arts and crafts, music and movement, free play and many more activities in a safe, nurturing and loving environment that meets the individual needs of each child. Focus is on building each child's emotional, social, cognitive and physical skills with multi-cultural and developmentally appropriate materials and equipment. Each child is treated as an individual who learns at his own pace and skill level. The daycare experience includes blocks, sewing cards, matching games, worksheets, calendar, weather, sorting, letters, numbers, shapes, colors, games, play dough/sand, music, science, sequencing activities, word/letter/symbol/picture recognition, dress-up and kitchen centers, story time daily physical exercise such as yoga or dance, arts and crafts activities and projects, activities that develop motor skills and a variety of toys for all ages to encourage imagination and social skills. I will provide a licensed childcare home in compliance with the Colorado Child Care Regulations. I will keep current with information on child care and early childhood education. I am active in continuing my education through workshops, conferences and in-services through various state and national childcare associations. I am current in my CPR/First Aid/Universal Precautions and Medication Administration Certifications. I belong to two child care associations. My daycare offers a wide range of enriching activities to meet the individual needs of each child. I encourage open communication with parents/guardian in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
