We have been loving the weather! The girls had an impromptu crazy sock day. Our gardening unit is coming to an end and we have so enjoyed it! Today's topic was worms we made a project where our worms crawl through the dirt! We sang a song about worms, pretended to be worms, charted and drew our greenhouse observations and reviewed all our FUNdamentals.

Didn't get many pics today but here are some cute ones! We were super busy learning today continuing out garden unit! Today we learned where plants grow. Some grow underground some grow on the ground and some grow above ground. Then we colored a sheet that had all kinds of plants and where they grow on it We did an oval puzzle for our shape of the month. We talked about the process of planting and made a flower book. We also continued to observe and draw our observations with our green house and some of the beans on Gemma's green house have sprouted!

Well Park Day was a bust with all the rain, but we still had a fantastic inside day. We had a huge dance party complete with costumes and instruments. We constructed with tools and baked lots of food in the pretend kitchen. Then we came upstairs for everyone's favorite activity play doh!

We had another great day full of learning at Busy Bee Academy! Today in our Gardens and Greenhouses unit we talked about seeds! We did a math activity where we charted what seeds we liked to eat best: the two favorites were peanuts and popcorn! We also talked about the letter Uu again and what words start with Uu and we sang our "U" song. We read our gardening book "Daisy's Garden" we worked on recognizing our sight words "he" and "she" and made a "she book". We also made a planting seeds picture.
