Today we celebrated the Class of 2026 as they walked the halls of Dry Creek school one more time. 🎓✨
From little backpacks and recess memories to graduation caps and big dreams, it’s been such a joy to watch these students grow. We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where life takes them next.

Field Day was a huge success! ☀️🏃♀️🎉
From relay races to water games and nonstop fun, our students showed incredible teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit all day long. A HUGE thank you to our amazing PE teacher for all the hard work, energy, and heart. 💙💚

🐣 Our 2nd graders have been busy scientists! Over the past few weeks, they’ve observed, learned, and cared for hatching eggs as they patiently waited for our chicks to arrive. From studying life cycles to watching the chicks hatch before their eyes, this hands-on science experience brought learning to life in the sweetest way! 💛
Specials Shoutout #2! Thanks to our incredible PE, Music, and Art teachers for bringing our 5th grade drumming performance to life! 🥁🎨🎶
Our students took full ownership of this experience, from choosing a childhood TV show theme to painting their own bases, choreographing their drumming routines, teaching one another, designing costumes, and performing with confidence for both our school and their families.
This performance was more than just a show, it was creativity, collaboration, and leadership in action. We are so proud of our 5th graders and so grateful for the passion and dedication of our amazing specials team who made it all possible! 👏✨
Specials Shoutout #1 There’s something truly special about creativity across ages!
Our Dry Creek 2nd graders teamed up with talented high school artists from Cherry Creek HS for an unforgettable collaboration! The high school students brought their 2-D artwork to life by sculpting incredible clay creations, then wrote original stories inspired by their pieces.
Our second graders had the opportunity to experience these stories and artworks in a whole new way, seeing how imagination can grow from an idea on paper into something tangible and meaningful.
This project was a beautiful reminder of the power of mentorship, storytelling, and artistic expression. We are so proud of ALL of our students for their creativity, collaboration, and heart! 🎨🖐️
