Before the curtain rises on our final show of the weekend, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible team behind it all.

From teaching classes and cleaning costumes to answering emails, fixing hair, organizing backstage, and cheering on every dancer, our staff pours their hearts into making this weekend possible.

Thank you for your endless dedication, patience, creativity, and love for our dancers. Dual Star is what it is because of each of you.

Months of hard work, countless rehearsals, friendships, memories, and so much dedication have led to this moment. Today is your day to shine, and we can’t wait to watch you do what you love most.

Take a deep breath, trust your training, and enjoy every second on that stage. The lights are on, the audience is ready, and your Dual Star family is cheering you on every step of the way!

Thank you for every car ride, costume change, late-night bun, and word of encouragement. We couldn’t do this without you!

As we begin dress rehearsal and prepare for the curtain to rise on our 20th Annual Recital, we have a few wishes for our Dual Star family 💜💙

May the FIRST-TIME PERFORMERS step on stage with confidence, excitement, and a heart full of joy. This is the beginning of something special.

May the SENIORS treasure every moment, every bow, every backstage laugh, and every final dance shared with the friends who became family.

May the PARENTS pause and take it all in. The costumes, the rehearsals, the car rides, the countless hours of support—it all led to this moment.

May every DANCER remember that success isn’t measured by perfection. It’s measured by courage, growth, dedication, and the love you have for what you do.

May the BOYS continue to lead with confidence and passion, proudly showing the world the strength and artistry that dance requires.

May our TEACHERS feel proud of the impact they’ve made. Your patience, encouragement, and belief in these dancers have helped shape far more than performances.

May our STAFF and VOLUNTEERS know how grateful we are. Your hard work behind the scenes allows the magic to happen on stage.

May our TECH CREW continue to work their magic, creating the lights, sound, and moments that bring every dance to life.

And may our AUDIENCE cheer loudly, celebrate every dancer, and help create memories that will last a lifetime.

Most importantly, may everyone leave this weekend remembering what makes Dual Star so special: the friendships, the family, the community, and the joy of dance.

Company Auditions are THIS WEEKEND and we could not be more excited!

This is your moment to step outside your comfort zone, chase big goals, and show us what makes YOU shine. Whether you’re dreaming of performing on stage, growing as a dancer, building confidence, or becoming part of something special, we can’t wait to see you in the room.

🗓️ AUDITIONS — Saturday, May 16th
(Age as of January 1, 2027)

✨ 9:15–10:00 AM → Ages 5–8
✨ 10:00–11:00 AM → Ages 9–11
(Some dancers may be invited to stay for the 12+ audition)
✨ 11:00 AM–12:00 PM → Company Plus*
✨ 12:00–1:30 PM → Ages 12+

We are looking for dancers who are passionate, driven, hardworking, coachable, and committed to being part of a competitive team. Company takes dedication, accountability, resilience, and the willingness to push yourself beyond your comfort zone, and we are excited to see dancers ready to rise to that challenge. Trust your training, leave it all on the floor, and show us what you’re capable of.
