💛🖤 BULLDOGS ARE MAKING BIG MOVES! 🖤💛

We have officially completed the second week of school, and our Bulldogs are learning, creating, and shining across campus! 🐾✨

🫧 KINDERGARTEN FUN!
Our youngest learners practiced letter formation by writing in shaving cream—messy, hands-on learning at its best!

🔬 SCIENCE SAFETY IN ACTION!
3rd–5th Grade students visited the High School Science Lab to learn key safety rules and preview future lab experiences!

⚡ BUILDING, CONNECTING, CREATING!
With help from Mr. Owens, Mrs. Wilcox’s 6th Grade students are using Snap Circuits to build working circuits and explore electricity and technology!

🤖 CODING WITH A TWIST!
Mrs. Wilcox’s 7th & 8th Grade students are tackling coding, problem-solving, and STEAM with Sphero Mini robots!
A huge thank you to Mr. Owens for making these opportunities possible!

✍️ CREATIVITY IS SHINING!
Our high school English classes are using We Will Write to find their voices and strengthen their writing skills. Their stories have been GREAT!

🏃‍♀️🦅 A MORNING TO REMEMBER!
Cement Cross Country joined the Wings of an Eagle Run and met Olympic Gold Medalist Billy Mills!

His message says it all:

📚 “I’ve won races, written a book, I’m an Olympic gold medalist, but the most powerful thing I’ve ever done is read!”

A powerful reminder that learning happens everywhere—in the classroom, lab, on the course, and beyond!

We’re proud of our Bulldogs and all the ways they learn, lead, and shine! 💛🖤🐾

🎡💛 Bulldogs at the Cement Free Fair! 🖤🐾

There’s a lot happening in our little community this week, and our Bulldogs are right in the middle of it!

🎡 The Cement Free Fair kicks off TONIGHT and continues Friday and Saturday!

🎨 Our Bulldogs have been busy creating! Every class from PreK through 5th grade has submitted projects to the fair, and our 6th–8th grade art students have artwork entered as well! We are excited for our students to have the opportunity to show off their creativity and hard work. Be sure to stop by, find their entries, and check out what they’ve created!

🎟️ You’ll also see plenty of Bulldogs helping make the fair happen! Our 10th–12th grade classes will be working booths, along with Athletics, STUCO, and Cheer.

The Free Fair is such a fun part of our Cement community, and we love seeing our students involved both inside the exhibit building and out at the booths! 💛🖤

Come spend an evening at the fair and support our students, school, and community!

💛🖤 WELCOME TO CEMENT! 🖤💛

We’re excited to introduce Ashley Gibson our new School Counselor at Cement Public Schools! 🐾

Mrs. Gibson will be working with our students throughout the year, providing support, encouragement, and guidance as they navigate academics, friendships, future plans, and everything that comes with growing up.

Having someone our students know they can turn to is such an important part of creating a positive and supportive school environment, and we’re excited for Mrs. Gibson to become part of our Bulldog community!

A little about Mrs. Gibson:

“I am so excited to begin my 16th year in education and my first year as a school counselor at Cement Public Schools! After graduating in 2001, it feels especially meaningful to be focusing on and pouring into the students of Cement.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to serve as both a classroom teacher and an administrator. My passion has always been to champion every student, help them recognize their potential, and give them opportunities to shine, grow, and experience new things.
When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me chasing my own kids and supporting them in all of their activities! Hadley is a sophomore at OCU, Audrey is a senior, Jax is in 6th grade, and Cal is in 2nd grade.
I’m so excited for this school year and have lots of fun things planned! I can’t wait to get to know our students and families and make this a great year at Cement!”

✨📚WELCOME TO THE BULLDOG FAMILY!📚✨

We’re excited to welcome Emry Josey to Cement Public Schools as our new High School Math Teacher! 💛🖤

Along with teaching math, Miss Josey will also be leading Speech & Drama this year! 🎤🎭 We’re excited to put a renewed focus on this elective and give our high school students another opportunity to build confidence, develop communication skills, explore their creativity, and get involved in something new.

We’re looking forward to seeing our Speech & Drama program grow and all that our students accomplish this year!

A little about Miss Josey:

“My name is Emry Josey. I am a USAO Summa Cum Laude graduate. I have grown up within the education profession, both of my parents are life-long educators and have poured their hearts and souls into their students. I firmly believe education is one of the most important rights we have, and that the education of our youth is one of the most virtuous and pertinent professions one could pursue. I am beginning my first year as the high school Math, Drama, and Speech teacher, and I am beyond excited and eager to help these precious kiddos with everything I can. My teaching philosophy reflects the notion of growth in all capacities, in ways that nurture confidence, curiosity, and a drive to continue expanding our minds. I aim to provide an environment conducive to all students at the school and am looking brightly ahead towards watching these kids continue to learn, progress, and exude the Cement Bulldog Pride! I am ecstatic to be apart of this new school and community!”

North Bus Route in the morning will be 10-15 minutes later.
South Bus route in the morning will be 10-15 minutes earlier.

After School Bus Routes
North Route times will stay the same.

We have a new face AND something new happening in our middle school this year! 🎉

For the 2026–2027 school year, our 6th–8th grade students are transitioning to a middle school rotation, giving them the opportunity to move between teachers and classrooms for different subjects as they prepare for high school!

As part of this new rotation, we’re excited to introduce Mrs. Wilcox, our new 6th–8th Grade Math & Science Teacher! ➗🧪🔬

✨ Get to know Mrs. Wilcox

“My name is Janice Wilcox, and I am from Apache. After stepping away from teaching in 2022, I decided to return to the classroom this year. This is my 26th year in education, and I am excited about starting the school year. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught six years at the elementary level, about 10 years of middle school math, and approximately 10 years of high school Algebra I and Geometry.
One of my favorite parts of teaching is being around the kids and watching them grow and learn—not just academically, but in all areas of their lives. Seeing their confidence develop and watching them discover what they are capable of is incredibly rewarding.
I am especially excited to be back in the classroom and to become a Cement Bulldog! I look forward to getting to know my students, making new memories, and being part of the Cement school community.”
