Directors, staff and parents from Ohio Head Start programs are in Washington D.C. this week for National Head Start Association's Fall Leadership Institute. Yesterday the attendees were on the Hill meeting with Ohio's Congress and Senate members' offices.

OHSAI's Executive Director, Julie Stone and Head Start staff representing Mercer County Head Start, Miami Valley Child Development Centers, Inc., Cincinnati-Hamilton County Head Start, YMCA of Central Ohio, The Ohio State University/Schoenbaum Family Center, Butler County Educational Service Center, Step Forward, Great Lakes Community Action Partnership and Community Action Organization of Scioto County, Inc. met with Senator Jon Husted's office to share about the importance of Head Start for children, families and communities in all of Ohio's 88 counties.
