Clay County Schools Closure — August 28, 2026
All Clay County Schools will be closed on Friday, August 28, 2026, in observance of the funeral service for Mitchell Boles, which will be held at Clay County High School gym.
On this day, Clay County Schools will honor the memory and spirit of Mitchell, a bright light and an inspiration to all who knew him. His kindness, joy, and impact on our school community will not be forgotten.
During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to Mitchell’s family, friends, classmates, teachers, and all those who loved him.

Due to the inability to properly staff the before and after school daycare, the Kid's Klub will no longer be able to provide these services at Celina K-8. This will take effect starting Monday, August 31, 2026. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you need bus transportation, please call Avery Johnson, the bus supervisor, at 931-243-5502.
