We’ve noticed there’s been a little confusion about PTA Membership vs. Student PTA Membership, so we wanted to break it down! 🧡🐾

PTA Memberships are for adults — parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, staff, and community members. These memberships make YOU a member of Lykins PTA and help support the programs, celebrations, events, and experiences PTA provides for our school.

🎒 Student PTA Membership is a separate $12 membership specifically for your student. An adult PTA membership does not automatically enroll your child as a Student PTA Member.

Student members get their own special perks throughout the year, including Popsicles on the Playground, Extra Recess with Libby Lou, Pajama Day, Hot Cocoa, Hat Day, our VIP Pizza Party & more! 🎉

So the easiest way to remember it:
🧡 Adult PTA Membership = YOUR membership
🐾 Student PTA Membership = YOUR STUDENT’S membership

Want your student to join in on the upcoming perks? Student memberships are available all year!

Thank you for supporting Lykins PTA and helping us make this last year at Lykins extra special! 🧡🐾

It was a BIG day at Lykins! 🧡🤍

Mrs. Hay’s class celebrated with a pizza party for having the most PTA members in a class, Ms. B’s class enjoyed a slushy party for having the most students attend our Sonic Patio Party, and our student PTA members enjoyed their first membership perk: Popsicles on the Playground! 🍕🥤🍦

There’s still time to sign your student up for PTA! Your membership helps us support our school and gives students more fun perks to look forward to. Extra Recess with Libby Lou is coming in October, followed by Pajama Day in November! 🐾

🥯🧡 We appreciate our Lykins staff a HOLE bunch! 🧡🥯

Today we treated our amazing teachers and staff to fresh bagels & cream cheese from Legacy Bagels as a little reminder of just how much we appreciate everything they do for our students each day!

A huge thank you to Legacy Bagels for generously providing us with a discount and helping make this month’s staff appreciation extra special! 🥯✨

And a big shout-out to our PTA Hospitality Committee for putting it all together! 🧡 We’re so thankful for the volunteers who give their time and creativity to help us love on our Lykins staff all year long.

We appreciate YOU a hole bunch, Lykins staff! 🥯🐾🧡

🐾 GOLD SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT 🐾

We’re paws-itively grateful to welcome Celina Veterinary Hospital back as a Gold Sponsor of Lykins Elementary PTA! 🧡

This locally owned veterinary hospital cares for Celina’s furry family members, from routine wellness visits to those unexpected “uh-oh” moments. We love seeing a business that cares for our community’s pets also show up for our students and teachers!

Thank you, Celina Veterinary Hospital, for continuing to support our Lykins Legends! 🐶🐱✨
