Dress for the perfect "European Escape" using things you already own! Here are some ideas:
- Wrap a cloth napkin or scarf around your neck
- Striped shirts with a dark skirt or pants
- Graphic tee with an iconic location from a European country, flag or country colors
- Sports jersey from a European country team
- Harry Potter scarves from a leftover costume with a "school uniform" look (collared white shirt with dark pants or skirt)

Don't forget, tomorrow is the start of Teacher Appreciation Week! It kicks off with a "Beach Day" outfit and a short appreciation note or picture for your teacher.

Looking for easy, no buy ways to achieve a "beach day" look? Try some of these ideas:
- Rash guard or athletic top + shorts
- Bright or mismatched colors (lean summery/playful)
- Flip flops, slides, Crocs, or sandals
- Sunglasses
- Bucket hat or sun hat
- Goggles worn on head or around neck
- Simple shell/pendant necklace if already owned

We are so excited to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week! They pour so much into our students each and every day, and we are grateful for the impact they make on our school community.

To make the week even more fun, we’ve planned some special spirit days! Our students always love joining in, and we hope everyone participates to help us celebrate in a big way. Let’s show our appreciation, have some fun, and make it a week to remember!

during our PTA meeting last night I found out we don’t have a new board yet, parents if your little will be attending Bothwell I urge you to join the PTA, we were responsible for getting Tshirts for all the kids, hosting Teacher Creature, getting together room parents, celebrating the teachers. Making sure there are Lunch volunteers, also field day and more! My little one won’t be attending Bothwell next year and I’m stepping away, let us know if anyone is willing to fill some shoes 🚸

Bothwell Families -

We have not yet been able to fill the minimum leadership roles needed to continue our PTA for next year.

If we do not have three confirmed volunteers for President, Vice President, and Treasurer by April 29, the PTA risks going inactive for the 2026–2027 school year. This would mean no PTA-sponsored events or programs.

To give a sense of what the PTA and its sponsors made possible, this year we were able to:
- Provide Room Parents who organized events like Homecoming goodie bags, holiday parties, and classroom activities
- Provide school t-shirts for all students
- Organize volunteers for the book fair, vision/hearing screenings, and picture day
- Assist teachers with classroom support like copies
- Sponsor programs like Creature Teacher and Penguin Patch
- Support 5th grade camp with supplies
- Welcome kindergarten families with a first-day breakfast
- Celebrate staff with birthday snack bars
