First day: DONE! 🎉

Our halls were full of smiles, new friendships, big adventures, and plenty of learning. We’re so grateful for the first day of a brand-new year at MCA and can’t wait to see all that God has in store for our students!

Meet Mrs. Chapman, our new teaching assistant at MCA! 🌟 We asked her to share a bit about herself and her family, her experience with students, and what most excites her about sharing her faith and teaching our students about Jesus. Here’s what she had to say:

🌟 My husband and I have been married for nearly 10 years and have four wonderful children: one daughter and three boys. Family is the greatest blessing God has given me, and we love spending time together, serving at church, and making memories through everyday adventures.

🌟 Over the past year, I have homeschooled 2 of my sons and have served in children’s ministry at our church, where I’ve had the opportunity to teach, encourage, and care for young children. These experiences have strengthened my love for helping children learn, grow in confidence, and know they are deeply loved by God.

🌟 Our family is actively involved in our church, where we faithfully attend and serve in both children’s ministry and the young adults ministry. Our faith is the foundation of our home, and we strive to live it out through serving others and growing together in Christ.

🌟 I enjoy spending time with my family, studying God’s Word, exercising, and being with friends. I also love creating Bible studies and encouraging others to pursue health and wellness through the lens of biblical stewardship.

🌟 The opportunity to help children know they are deeply loved by God and created with purpose is what excites me most. I would love to reflect the love of Jesus through patience, kindness, and encouragement while helping students grow both academically and spiritually.

We can’t wait to see the impact Mrs. Chapman makes in our classrooms. Her kindness and encouragement are going to be such a gift to our students! 🤍

Meet Mrs. Guldalian, our kindergarten teacher at MCA! 🌟 We asked her to share a bit about herself and her family, her journey in education, and what most excites her about sharing her faith and teaching her students about Jesus. Here’s what she had to say:

🌟 My husband, John, and I have been married for 27 years and have two grown daughters. I had the privilege of homeschooling them for four years during their elementary years, and we enjoy spending time together as a family.

🌟 I have experience teaching Kindergarten through 6th-grade Spanish, serving as a substitute teacher, and tutoring elementary students, and I am an Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) trained instructor. I am currently tutoring multiple students ages 7 to 15.

🌟 My husband and I are active members of our church, where I serve as an usher and greeter on the hospitality team. We are also taking biblical counseling classes, and I hope to serve in that ministry in the future. I taught Sunday school for many years at our previous church. I also led some women’s Bible studies.

🌟 I enjoy cooking, reading, writing, entertaining family and friends, taking walks, and taking pictures of God’s beautiful creation. My favorite treat is dark chocolate, especially the organic vanilla bean dark chocolate from Trader Joe’s. But I enjoy anything chocolate.

🌟 I love sharing the Word of God as it brings so much hope. I love encouraging others with the truth of God’s Word and reminding them that they are deeply loved by Him. It is a joy to teach students about their identity in Christ as they discover that they are wonderfully made in God’s image with special gifts and a unique purpose for their lives.

We can’t wait to see all that God has in store as Mrs. Guldalian joins our MCA family. Welcome! 🤍
