LION KING KIDS AUDITIONS NEXT WEEK!
We are excited to announce auditions for the 4th and 5th grade musical! Dates, times, and locations are listed below.
Auditions will be held in the drama classroom. If students come to the morning audition, they will enter through the walker gate. If students come to the afternoon auditions, they will exit through the walker gate (Mulberry). Students do not need to prepare anything. At auditions, they will learn a song and be given a scene. Students will be considered for all parts, no matter which script they are given. Students will audition in groups for a panel of teachers. They can tell us if they do not want to be considered for a solo part. There will be callbacks on Friday, August 21st. Only students contacted on ParentSquare will be invited to callbacks.
Students will be needed for a callback on Friday. The list of students called back will be sent out on Thursday after the second audition. As we told the students, do not worry if you are not called back. It is just for us to hear you again.
The cast list will be sent out on Sunday, August 23. Rehearsals will start Monday morning, August 24. If selected, students will be responsible for their own costumes. A costume list will be sent out during rehearsals. Also, students must be available to rehearse on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at 8 am until school starts. Students must also be available for all dates of the shows, November 5-7. They must also be available for all dress rehearsals. Dress rehearsals will be the week of the shows, before and after school. That will be the only week we have after-school rehearsals. I know this is a lot of information, but I wanted to make sure you had all the details. Please contact Miss Cascio with questions.

Rehearsals Start:
- Monday, August 24th at 8 am

SHOWS (each show is 30 minutes long)
- November 5th at 5 pm is the staff show
- November 6th at 7 pm and 8 pm
- November 7th at 2 pm and 3 pm

First Day Reminders from Mr. Weeden! We have many drop off and pick up locations. Please make sure your elementary child knows how they are getting home and you have communicated this to teachers.

The rain didn’t keep our families away from open house! It was so nice seeing the campus bustling with activity again! We had many community partners and our amazing pta welcoming our families as well. We look forward to our first day of school on Monday!
