⚾ Calling Our Creation Village Students: Make an Impact as a Challenger Baseball Buddy!

We’re excited to share a meaningful volunteer opportunity for students looking to serve others, make new connections, and earn volunteer hours this fall.

The Challenger Baseball Buddy Brigade is looking for volunteers to support children and young adults with differing abilities as they take the field. With a dozen new athletes joining the program this season, more Buddies are needed to help every player have an encouraging and memorable experience.

And the best part? You don’t need to know anything about baseball! All you need is a big smile, a kind heart, and a willingness to encourage and support an athlete.

📅 Games begin September 12
⏰ 9:15 AM
📍 Celebration K8 Ballfields

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to put service, compassion, leadership, and inclusion into action while seeing firsthand the difference volunteering can make in someone else’s life.

Interested in joining the Buddy Brigade? Scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up!

Let’s show our Creation Village spirit by getting out into our community and serving others. 💙⚾

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from Creation Village World School!

Today, we’re celebrating one very special member of our Village: Koa Jack, our dog in training! 💙

As Koa Jack continues his training journey, he’s already becoming a familiar and beloved presence on campus. Whether he’s spending time with our students, practicing new skills, soaking up a little extra attention, or simply bringing smiles wherever he goes, Koa Jack reminds us of the joy and connection animals can bring to our everyday lives.

Our animals are an important part of the Creation Village experience, giving students opportunities to practice compassion, responsibility, empathy, and care for God's creation while building meaningful connections with the world around them.

Help us give our pup in training some extra love today! Drop a 🐾 in the comments to wish Koa Jack a Happy National Dog Day!

💙 Building Classrooms Where Every Student Has a Voice

Our PYP and MYP students have been working together to create their Classroom Charters with Marjorie Vicente, an important part of the RULER approach that helps students and teachers establish a shared vision for how they want to feel, learn, and interact in their classrooms.

Rather than beginning the year with only a list of classroom rules, students are invited into the conversation. Together, they identify how they want to feel at school, such as safe, respected, included, happy, or calm, and then discuss the actions and behaviors that can help everyone experience those feelings.

The question at the heart of the process is simple but powerful: “How do we want to feel in our classroom, and what can we do to help everyone feel that way?”

Throughout the year, students and teachers can return to their Charter to reflect, reconnect, and hold one another accountable to the community they have committed to creating together.

From our PYP classrooms through MYP, this student-centered approach helps our Riverhawks develop emotional awareness, empathy, communication, responsibility, and a stronger sense of belonging while giving them an active role in shaping their learning environment.

Take a look at our students putting RULER into action and building classroom communities where everyone can thrive! 💙🦅

Fridays at Creation Village World School are a special opportunity for our students to come together in worship, prayer, reflection, and community during Chapel.

But have you ever wondered what it takes to bring our entire Village together and get everyone settled and ready? This behind-the-scenes look showcases the organization, teamwork, and leadership that help make Chapel Fridays possible each week.

A special thank you to Mr. Jacques for his leadership in coordinating our students as they enter the auditorium and helping create an organized, welcoming environment where everyone can prepare their hearts and minds for worship.

We are also incredibly grateful for all of our teachers, village team members, and student helpers who work together behind the scenes. From guiding students and organizing grade levels to lending a helping hand wherever it is needed, Chapel is truly a Village-wide effort.

From the hallways to the auditorium, every detail and every helping hand contributes to a meaningful time together as one Village.

Take a look behind the scenes at how we prepare for Chapel Friday! 🙏💙

💰 Real-World Learning Meets Financial Literacy

Our high school students were invited to participate in the Charles Schwab MoneyWise America™ Reality Store, an interactive financial literacy experience designed to give students a glimpse into the financial decisions they will face as adults.

During the Reality Store, students explored how career choices and income connect to real-life expenses such as housing, transportation, utilities, entertainment, saving, and unexpected costs. With guidance from Schwab financial literacy ambassadors, students had the opportunity to make their own financial decisions and see firsthand how budgeting and planning can influence their futures.

Experiences like this help prepare students for life beyond the classroom by building practical skills in financial literacy, critical thinking, decision-making, and future planning.

We are grateful to Charles Schwab MoneyWise, Celebration Foundation , and Celebration High School for extending this valuable learning opportunity to our students. A special thank you to the Schwab volunteer ambassadors, Principal Todd and the Celebration High School team, and the Celebration Foundation Board of Trustees for helping bring this experience to students in our community.

Preparing for the future means understanding more than what you want to do. It also means learning how to make informed decisions along the way, and we are excited to see our students putting those skills into practice!

🌿 Big Adventures Start with Curious Little Learners!

Our young Riverhawks are discovering that some of the best classrooms don’t always have four walls! From exploring the world around them to asking questions, making observations, and discovering something new, outdoor adventures give our youngest learners opportunities to turn their natural curiosity into meaningful learning.

Through the IB Primary Years Programme, exploration and inquiry encourage students to wonder, investigate, make connections, and learn through hands-on experiences. Time outdoors also provides opportunities to develop creativity, confidence, collaboration, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Every leaf, trail, creature, and question can become an opportunity to learn. For our kindergarten students, these everyday adventures are helping build the foundation for becoming lifelong inquirers, thinkers, communicators, and caring stewards of creation.

Here’s to more exploring, wondering, and learning together! 🌱🦅
