It is fair week and you know what that means! Surprise Valley FFA is busy, busy, busy! Between all of the service they are involved in at the fair, feature booth building and fun, we also have two major events happening.
1. Register to bid on students projects starting Friday at 1:30pm and get your final bids in by 7pm Saturday in the Ag Building!
2. Make sure to come by and get the best bang for your buck and enjoy a delicious dinner! We have changed it up and are serving Kyle's famous smoked chicken, you won't want to miss it! Serving will start at 5pm to accommodate the monster truck start time.

Each program in the state of California is required to have a committee of community members and industry professionals meet a few times a year to help guide and support the department, its students and teachers. The SVHS Ag Advisory Committee is currently seeking industry professionals to serve on the committee. The term is three years, with opportunities to continue their service beyond the three year term. Members must be able to attend the scheduled meetings in person or online and understand their role on the committee. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to Mrs. Scritchfield at x131. Our first meeting of the year is at 6:30pm at the SVHS Ag Department on Monday, August 31st.
