Great local career opportunity for anyone looking to make a difference in the lives of young children! The Eastern Upper Peninsula ISD (EUPISD) is currently hiring Assistant Teachers for early learning centers in the area.

Locations:
Les Cheneaux Early Learning Center – Cedarville
EUPISD Early Learning Center – Kincheloe

Pay:
Up to $16.08/hour (dependent upon education, experience, and certifications)

Qualifications:
Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate Degree in Early Childhood/Child Development, OR willingness to obtain within two years. Must meet MiLEAP minimum personnel qualifications for Michigan Child Care Centers

Position Summary:
Assistant Teachers work under the guidance of the Lead Teacher to support a high-quality early learning environment. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities while supporting the educational, social, physical, emotional, medical, and self-care needs of young children (and stepping in as Lead Teacher when needed).

School Bond Project Update: Kitchen Improvements!

We’re excited to see progress in our school kitchen! As part of the school bond project, we’re getting a new kitchen hood and air handling unit. We’re also getting a new walk in cooler/freezer through an insurance claim, which is a separate project.

A big thank you to our community members and board members for supporting our school bond and helping make these important improvements possible. We appreciate your continued investment in our schools and our students!

School Bond Update! 🏈

The football bleachers are officially complete, and they look great! There are still a few cosmetic items around the space that need to be finished, but we couldn’t be more excited to see this project come together.

Another important feature is that the new bleachers are ADA compliant, including a ramp and paved pathways for accessible access. This helps ensure everyone in our community can enjoy the games and events comfortably and safely.

Thank you to our amazing community members and board members for your support, commitment, and investment in our schools. These improvements are possible because of you!
