We had a great time in math today! We had the recipe to make slime for 2 students, but used our knowledge of fractions to half the recipe for 1 student. We learned that dividing a number by 2 is the same as multiplying by 1/2!

We had a great first day back to school! The kids were all so prepared and very well behaved! A few reminders for everyone:

-Please fill out all the paperwork that was sent home today and send it back with your child tomorrow!

-Dont forget to send a water bottle with your child. We will not be using water fountains.

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Take a look tonight 4th graders!

Don’t forget to bring the family out tonight and look at the western sky. You will see one of the most beautiful sights in the heavens. The moon and Venus side by side.
And if you want to impress your kids, Venus is the second planet from the sun. It’s year is 224 days. It’s always cloudy which is why it’s so bright. It’s named after the Roman goddess of love.
