Lee Aurand-Hosey of Boilermakers Local 454 Chattanooga and Lance Daniel, Area Manager with Vulcan Industrial Contractors, spent the day talking with Mr. Hayden's Welding classes about the opportunities and careers they offer. They discussed the shortage of skilled welders, which they called a "High Dollar - Blue Collar" workforce. They showed students how the skills they have the opportunity to learn in welding can lead to high-paying careers. Students have the potential to make 100K in their first year right out of high school, plus full benefits.

The Georgia Highlands College (GHC) White Coat Ceremony is an annual rite of passage that celebrates nursing and dental hygiene students as they transition from classroom learning into clinical patient care. Ava Shea Culver (Dental Hygiene), Kinsley Huckaby (Nursing), Audrey Anna Fuqua (Nursing), Macy McNabb (Nursing), and Railee Shuman (Nursing). All 5 of these ladies graduated from our RHS campus!!

With tonight’s CHS graduation ceremony only hours away, PCCCA would like to take a moment and congratulate the class of 2026 on four outstanding years at CHS! We wish all of you the best of luck on your next journey and we are proud of every one of you! As Kriss York Croft always says “It’s a GREAT DAY to be a Bulldog” and there are no better words to describe tonight’s celebration of YOU and your achievements! We are PROUD of you!

PCCCA would like to congratulate four outstanding seniors at CHS for earning three medical certifications! These four graduates have worked hard throughout high school in our healthcare pathways and their hard work has paid off in tremendous ways! They are certified in Nursing Assisting, Phlebotomy, and Clinical Medical Assisting by passing all three certification exams! We are extremely proud of these ladies and wish them much success as they continue their healthcare journeys in college! They are: Kailyn Stewart, Angelina Tzoy, Nataly Sanchez, and Taylor Johnson.
