Just a friendly reminder that we are a non-partisan, grassroots group of parents who send our children to school in Cedarburg. ๐งก
We formed to work together to gather and share information related to mitigation measures as we all continue to navigate this health crisis. We care about our community and do this work for free.
01/12/2022
According to the Cedarburg School District dashboard, only lab verified test results are counted. Including non-verified results, such as rapid take-home tests, would increase the elementary schools total by 52 positive Covid cases.

The Cedarburg Covid Dashboard only reflects PCR tests (not rapid tests). For various reasons, many families have limited access to tests.
๐ป๐๐ ๐ช๐ ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ ๐จ... The Cedarburg School District could offer on-site free access to ๐โ๐๐๐โ๐ธ๐ testing for CSD families? Unfortunately, the current School Board members are opposed to offering this option to CSD families that want it.
Covid notification letters are sent only to elementary school families by grade level. There could be more, but here are the notification letters we received in just the past four days since returning from winter break:

We all want our kids to be safe and healthy at school. Let's work together to help prevent the spread.

โThe best way to prevent children from being in the hospital with these illnesses is to get everyone who is eligible vaccinated for both COVID-19 and influenza. And as always, continue to wash your hands, wear a mask and stay home when not feeling well. These are very simple but effective steps that prevent kids from being hospitalized from these illnesses.โ
