Christy has lived in Cedar Springs for most of her life. She has four children - three CSHS graduates and a fourth entering junior year this fall. She has worked as a Respiratory Therapist at University of Michigan Health West for over 27 years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, quilting, and cheering on her daughter at cheer competitions. She served as a parent rep last year and is now in her first year on the board.

Andrea has lived in Cedar Springs for 17 years now with her oldest having graduated from Cedar Springs and her youngest now a Sophomore. She and her husband enjoy cheering on their son at his football games and track meets along with many others. This is her second year on our board and is our Concessions Coordinator extraordinaire. Thank you, Andrea for your service to our Red Hawk athletes!

Mel Relich joins the CSB as Board Secretary. She and her husband Tim, a science teacher at CSHS, are parents to two children: Aavra, who attends NMU in Marquette, plays golf for the university, and is studying nursing; and Noah, a freshman standout in golf, baseball, and skiing. Mel is looking forward to promoting and supporting all CSHS athletics. Welcome, Mel!

Kara is in her second year on the board after two years as a parent rep. With six kids, one still in the district, who have participated in just about every sport imaginable, from golf and track to cheer and football, she loves cheering on all the Red Hawk athletes. When she’s not at games, you’ll probably find her playing pickleball!

Next up… our awesome, VP! Danielle has lived in Cedar Springs for nearly 15 years with her husband and their 6 children, 5 of whom attend Cedar Springs Public Schools. With 2 teens active in the local music scene and all of her kids involved in sports, she is deeply connected to the community. Alongside family life, Danielle has built a 25 year career in technology, specializing in crisis response and innovation.

Katie has been a proud part of the Red Hawk community for more than 15 years! She coached the Equestrian Team for nine years and spent five years as a Parent Rep before joining the board. Both of her boys rode on the equestrian team and played basketball at Cedar Springs, and now that they’ve graduated, she’s excited to return to the show pen after years of cheering them on. When she’s not in the arena, you’ll find Katie riding her horses, reading or walking with her husband and dogs. Welcome back Katie as our new President!! ❤️🖤
