Kirkwood Community College TRIO Student Support Services Kirkwood's Student Support Services program provides personal assistance and direction to help students be successful in higher education.

Student Support Services (SSS) is a program specifically designed to assist students in the transition to higher education and the college environment. SSS staff and programming support Kirkwood Students with their academic path, including obtaining an Associates Degree and/or transferring to a four year post secondary institution. Students work with an individual counselor on the primary SSS program supports including but not limited to: goal and solution based counseling, financial aid process assistance, math and writing support, and transfer decision making and connecting. TRIO Programs help students overcome class, social and cultural barriers in higher education.

Many of you who have followed us on Facebook got to know Neenah the office dog when we were all working from home during the Covid pandemic shut down. I'm sorry to report that Neenah passed away last week. She lived a long and happy life. She was only three weeks away from turning 17 years old. Thanks for letting us share her adventures with you.
